Overview
We are seeking 6x Mixer Driver to join our team, responsible for transporting and operating mixing equipment across various sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in commercial driving, with the ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery. Responsibilities
- Operate mixer lorries to deliver materials to designated sites efficiently and safely
- Handle and operate excavators and other heavy machinery as required for loading and unloading materials
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and maintenance schedules
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all operations
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs when necessary
- Collaborate with site teams to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within construction or industrial environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery such as excavators and mixers
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating large vehicles (e.g., HGV licence)
- Experience in operating excavators or similar equipment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to heavy vehicle operation and site work
