Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Westbourne. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality care while ensuring our residents feel valued and supported in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Support nursing staff in implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a warm and welcoming environment that promotes social interaction among residents.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving as needed.
- Help organize recreational activities that engage residents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of care plans and resident needs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and staff effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic IT skills are preferred but not mandatory.
- A valid driving license is an advantage but not required.
