Brighter Living Care Ltd is a progressive and personable Care Quality Commission registered Supported Living care organisation for people with learning disabilities, complex needs, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or mental health conditions. We support a range of people from lower need care packages through to people who require constant support provision throughout their day.

Job Role
As a Support Worker it would be your role to deliver the care to the people we support as set out by the person’s care plan and in line with Brighter Living Care Ltd’s Policies, Procedures and practices. We aim to help people in our care to fulfil their individual potential with all aspects of their life. Support workers would
- Help people maintain health and managing/taking medication
- Help people maintain personal care
- Help people have meaningful socially inclusive lives
- Help people have programmes of recreation and stimulation
- Support challenging behaviour with the principles of positive behaviour support
- Safeguard the lives of vulnerable adults
- Produce quality written records for the care and monitoring of vulnerable adults
Full mandatory training and induction is provided. Face-to-face training and induction are considered as normal paid shifts.
Conditions:
- Previous experience is an advantage but not necessary
- Must be able to work shift patterns
- Full-time contract is 35 hours.
- Full-time hours would be allocated on average across 5 days between Monday and Sunday.
- Part-time contracts may be considered
- Some sleep-in cover is required
- English language is required
- Written skills must be adequate to produce documentation
- Must be able to provide full employment history as mandatory
