We are a leading eCommerce fulfilment solutions business, our headquarters are in Christchurch, and we have a new state-of-the-art office space near Bournemouth Airport. Due to continued expansion, we now have the opportunity for an Inventory Operative to join our team who work across our Christchurch and Hurn site.
This role is onsite only, Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The purpose of this role is to manage stock accuracy, movements, investigations, and auditing while driving efficiencies and process improvements.
Inventory Team Warehouse Operative will:
- Auditing stock using our BLADE WMS system
- Working in parallel with the goods in team to ensure stock is located in the most opportunistic locations to improve efficiencies downstream
- Working with the dispatch team remedying bottlenecks to ensure all orders are shipped within SLA
- To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high-quality standard.
- Any other duties as assigned
Successful Candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- Warehouse and/or logistics experience (preferred)
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to high health & safety standards
- Punctual timekeeping
- Self-motivation and the ability to think fast on your feet
