The Ruddings Hotel is a newly renovated 20-bedroom hotel in Braithwaite, near Keswick, with a busy and growing restaurant serving both local residents and visitors to the Lake District. Our menus combine quality bistro favourites with restaurant-style dishes, using fresh ingredients and offering plenty of variety.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our established kitchen team.
This would suit a strong Sous Chef who is comfortable taking responsibility for the kitchen when required. You will work alongside an experienced team, helping to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and kitchen organisation.
We operate five successful establishments in the local area, with our chefs working as a team and supporting one another when required.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and enjoys being part of a supportive team, with a genuine interest in producing consistently good food.
Salary: £37,000–£43,000 per year, depending on experience.
Live-in accommodation can be provided if required.
This is a permanent position.
