We are a Building Company based in Bromley who specialise in high end home renovations and extensions.
All work is based with a 45-minute drive from Bromley town centre.
We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. This role involves working on diverse projects, from residential to commercial properties, requiring attention to detail and a professional approach. A valid driving licence and good communication skills are essential for this position.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes before painting or decorating
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Decorate walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces with wallpaper or specialised finishes as required
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within specified timeframes
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace during and after each project
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver satisfactory results
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
All candidates must
- Be CIS registered
- Must have their own transport and tools
- Be able to speak and write good English
- Be polite, clean and sociable with the clients
- Be hard working and most importantly reliable
- Be willing to work long days, 08:00 to 16:00 is normal
- Be able to provide references, photos, past clients to prove work quality.
All work is offered on a project-to-project basis (average is 2 weeks). Although the work is not guaranteed, if you are good, then you will always have work with us (as much as you can take on). We are busy and are always looking for new fitters.
Daywork is also available for the right candidates.
All work is high end and the finish must be very good.
