Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Frontline Processor specialising in tufting to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating tufting machinery and assisting in fabricating high-quality textile products. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills within a dynamic warehouse environment, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship. The position involves physical work, including heavy lifting, and requires a proactive approach to maintaining production standards.
Duties
- Operate tufting machinery with precision to produce consistent textile patterns and designs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment to assist in fabricating and finishing products.
- Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery to minimise downtime.
- Assist with the assembly of textile components, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished goods safely throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently.
- Assist in fabric preparation and material handling within the warehouse setting.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding machinery operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, sewing techniques, and fabrication processes is desirable.
- Experience with assembly tasks and working with textiles or similar materials is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work physically demanding shifts is essential.
- Prior experience in a similar role will be considered an asset but is not mandatory; a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Pay: £13.02-£13.53 per hour
