Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Saturday Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and other procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before each appointment
- Ensure patients are comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilize equipment according to health and safety standards
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
- Provide excellent communication to explain procedures, answer questions, and reassure patients
- Support the overall organization of the practice by managing appointments and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Qualified GDC registered Nurse.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care and infection control procedures
- Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with patients and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy clinic hours
- Relevant certifications in dental nursing or healthcare are preferred but not mandatory
