ROLE STATEMENT
Responsible for coordinating the international and domestic movement of equipment, spare parts, and consumables in line with customer requirements whilst ensuring compliance with all import, export and customs regulations. The role supports the efficient delivery of EnerQuip products and services by working closely with customers, freight forwarders, internal departments, and regulatory authorities, whilst adhering to EnerQuip’s QHSE standards, responsibilities, policies and procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES
Manage the end-to-end logistics process in response to customer orders and enquiries, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Prepare all shipping documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and any other documentation as required.
Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers and customers to coordinate collections, deliveries and customs clearance.
Prepare logistic quotations by obtaining freight costs.
Track and monitor shipments from collection through to final delivery, proactively resolving any delivery issues.
Ensure compliance with UK customs legislation, export regulations and company procedures.
Act as the primary logistics focal point for customers, providing timely updates and support throughout the shipping process.
Efficiently communicate progress of orders with customers and management alike.
Develop strong working relationships with freight forwarders to continually improve service levels and reduce costs.
Carry out any other duties as reasonably assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in an international logistics, freight forwarding or export coordination role.
Good understanding of UK import and export procedures, customs documentation and international shipping regulations.
Knowledge of Incoterms, commodity codes and export compliance requirements.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple shipments and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when preparing documentation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
Confident liaising with customers and freight forwarders.
Good numerical skills and commercial awareness.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team environment.
A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
