Event & Arcade Technician / Driver

A1 Agency Ltd is a friendly, family-run business that has been growing year after year. We specialise in providing arcade games, simulators, photo booths and unique entertainment for corporate events, exhibitions, weddings and private functions across the UK.
We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic person to join our small team and build a long-term career with us.
No two days are the same. One day you'll be preparing arcade machines in our workshop, the next you'll be travelling across the UK delivering and setting up exciting events for some fantastic clients.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Testing, cleaning and maintaining arcade games and event equipment.
- Preparing equipment for upcoming hires.
- Delivering, setting up and collecting arcade games, photo booths and other attractions across the UK.
- Occasionally operating equipment during live events.
- Loading and unloading vans safely.
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and equipment.
- Assisting with general workshop and warehouse duties.
- Providing excellent customer service while representing A1 Agency Ltd.
Some overnight hotel stays will be required when working at events further afield.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Is motivated and can work independently without constant supervision.
- Can spot jobs that need doing and takes the initiative to get them done.
- Is friendly, professional and enjoys meeting customers.
- Is physically fit, as the role includes lifting and moving heavy equipment.
- Is happy to work evenings and weekends when events require.
- Is happy to work long shifts when events require, including 14+ hour days and occasional late finishes around 3-4am.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (van driving experience is desirable).
- Has no more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence.
- Has their own transport to travel to our workshop in Bamford.
Due to our commercial vehicle insurance, we ideally require applicants to be aged 25 or over. However, exceptional younger candidates will still be considered.
No formal qualifications are required. Full training will be provided.
