KATA Projects Ltd is looking for reliable and experienced groundworkers to support ongoing construction projects across Lincoln and the surrounding areas.
Applicants must have substantial practical experience in groundworks and be capable of completing work safely, accurately and to a good standard without constant supervision.
Required Experience
Applicants must be experienced in:
- Drainage installation, including foul and surface-water systems
- Excavating and preparing foundations and footings
- Roads, kerbing and associated external works
- Excavation, trenching and backfilling
- Installing ducts, services and chambers
- Concrete works and ground preparation
- Reading and working from site drawings and specifications
- Working safely around plant and other site operations
Experience operating excavators, dumpers or other construction plant would be a strong advantage.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have proven experience working as a groundworker
- Hold a valid CSCS card or relevant construction competency card
- Hold valid CPCS or NPORS plant tickets where applicable
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have their own reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance
- Hold appropriate public liability insurance
- Be registered as self-employed and able to provide a valid UTR
- Provide evidence of all relevant qualifications and competency cards
- Have their own PPE
- Be reliable, punctual and able to travel to different project locations
- Work safely and follow site rules, RAMS and instructions
A valid 360 excavator or dumper ticket would be an advantage but is not essential for every position.
Pay: From £200.00 per day
