DHÖM is an independent premium brunch and bistro on Darkes Lane in Potters Bar. Our drinks offer includes cocktails, wine, Prosecco, Champagne, spirits, beer and alcohol-free options, served in a modern, warm and relaxed setting.
We are looking for one or two experienced bartenders to join our growing team. This role would suit someone who can prepare drinks accurately, remain organised during busy service and give guests warm, confident recommendations.
Previous professional bartending experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails and other drinks accurately and consistently.
- Set up and close the bar correctly for each service.
- Complete bar preparation, restocking, cleaning and glassware duties.
- Take orders and process payments accurately through the EPOS system.
- Provide friendly and informed recommendations to guests.
- Monitor stock, minimise waste and report shortages or breakages.
- Follow licensing, Challenge 25, hygiene and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
- Support the wider front-of-house team during busy service.
What we are looking for
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality venue.
- Working knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and bar service.
- A calm, organised and accurate approach during busy periods.
- Reliable availability across the advertised days, including evenings and weekends.
- Warm and professional communication with guests.
- Strong teamwork and willingness to follow DHÖM’s recipes and service standards.
- Ability to travel reliably to Potters Bar for scheduled shifts.
