We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to design engaging, responsive, and user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, web design trends, and front-end technologies to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design website layouts, landing pages, and user interfaces.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using design tools.
- Develop responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all web assets.
- Optimize website designs for usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Update and maintain existing websites.
- Conduct user research and incorporate feedback into design improvements.
- Stay current with web design trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Strong visual design, typography, and color theory skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in web design (or as required).
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Basic understanding of version control tools such as Git.
