We’re looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded Junior IT Support Technician to join our growing IT function. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in IT while gaining valuable hands-on experience across a busy, multi-site business.
Based at our Head Office in Cumnock, you’ll provide first-line IT support to our Head Office and hotel teams, with travel to our various sites when required. You’ll help to resolve day-to-day IT issues whilst developing your knowledge across hardware, software, networks and business systems.

- Providing first-line IT support to Head Office and hotel teams via helpdesk calls and tickets.
- Troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues, escalating where needed.
- Setting up and maintaining computers, laptops, phones and other IT equipment.
- Supporting users with day-to-day IT queries and system access (accounts, passwords, etc.).
- Assisting with device management, asset tracking and system updates.
- Installing and maintaining IT and network equipment.
- Travelling to hotel sites to provide on-site support when required.
- Assisting with new equipment and system setups.
- Keeping accurate records of equipment, issues and fixes.
- Learning and developing IT skills across systems and technologies.
- A genuine interest in IT, computers and technology.
- Some experience in an IT support environment would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- A logical and practical approach to troubleshooting problems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to provide friendly and patient support to colleagues.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider team.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- An IT, computing or technology-related qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Any previous experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, networking or IT support systems would be beneficial.
