We have a vacancy within our Manufacturing Department and are currently recruiting for the role of Fabrications - Sheet Metal Worker on the Late Shift. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.
Location: Accrofab Alcester Limited B49 6EH
Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week working the Late Shift; 16.30 to 02.30 Monday to Wednesday and 16.30 to 01.30 Thursdays with designated breaks.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out bench fettling, deburring and finishing of precision thin gauge sheet metal components.

Dress and blend welds to customer and engineering specifications.

Polish metal components to the required surface finish.

Set and fit finished parts to castings and/or gauges using metalwork techniques.

Safely operate handheld pneumatic tools, belt linishing equipment and other bench finishing tools.

Use measuring equipment to inspect and verify components against engineering drawings and specifications.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Working Instructions (SWIs) and engineering documentation to consistently produce conforming parts with a zero-scrap mindset.

Work accurately to tight tolerances on thin gauge materials.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Previous experience in sheet metal finishing, fettling, deburring, polishing or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
