About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Years Coordinator to join a childcare setting in the E9 area.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of high-quality early years provision, ensuring children receive a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the daily running of the early years provision.
- Support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and learning experiences.
- Help ensure the EYFS framework is effectively implemented.
- Monitor children's development and maintain accurate records.
- Support planning, observations and assessments.
- Work closely with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety and children's wellbeing.
- Support and mentor early years practitioners.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of practice across the setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an early years/childcare setting.
- Level 3 Early Years Foundation qualification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Previous experience in a senior, coordinator or leadership role is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, professional and proactive approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
