Waiter/Waitress & Barista – Full Time or Weekend Part Time
The Garden Room Café is a new café opening soon in Poole, and we are looking for friendly, reliable and experienced team members to join us from the beginning.
We are hiring for two positions:
- 1 Full-Time Waiter/Waitress & Barista for weekdays
- 1 Part-Time Weekend Waiter/Waitress & Barista for Saturdays and Sundays
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in good customer service, and can confidently prepare quality coffee and drinks.
Main responsibilities
- Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Preparing coffee and other hot drinks to a good standard
- Serving food and drinks to tables
- Keeping the café clean, tidy and organised
- Handling payments when required
- Supporting the team during busy service times
- Restocking products and maintaining front-of-house standards
- Helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers
Requirements
- Previous café, restaurant, hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Barista experience is preferred
- Friendly, polite and professional attitude
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to work weekends if applying for the weekend position
- Right to work in the UK
