About the role:
As an HGV Driver & Despatch Operative, you'll help keep Smiley Monroe moving by ensuring our products are safely prepared, accurately dispatched and delivered to customers across Northern Ireland. This is a varied role that combines driving, yard operations and despatch activities, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a real difference every day.
What you'll be doing:

Carry out lorry driving duties across Northern Ireland, ensuring safe, timely and professional delivery of customer orders.

Load and unload delivery vehicles safely, checking goods for accuracy and quality.

Shrink-wrap and package products to Smiley Monroe standards.

Complete all relevant despatch and delivery documentation accurately and on time.

Organise workload to meet daily despatch and delivery targets.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard area, carrying out daily safety checks.

Assist with internal and external movement of products within the yard.

Support the wider despatch team with general duties.

Always working in line with health & safety procedures and company values.
About You:

Experience in a despatch, manufacturing or logistics environment.

Full UK driving license.

HGV Class 2 license.
-
Current B1 forklift license.
-
Ability to lift moderate to heavy weights.
-
Strong awareness of health & safety in both yard and driving environments.

High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.

Positive, team-focused attitude with a flexible approach to work.

Willingness to work overtime when required.
