We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and cooked to the highest standard and presented beautifully
- Maintain accurate records of food costs and wastage
- Order and manage stock levels of ingredients and kitchen equipment
- Ensure that health and safety standards are met in the kitchen at all times
- Continuously develop and innovate new dishes to enhance the menu
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, with a strong track record in gastro pubs or restaurant trade
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Strong leadership and management skills
- A creative approach to menu design and dish presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or higher qualification
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
