Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic dental care team. Duties
- Fabricate custom dental restorations based on detailed prescriptions from dentists, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers.
- Prepare and process dental impressions to create accurate molds for prosthetic fabrication.
- Use specialized tools and materials to sculpt, model, and finish dental appliances with precision.
- Ensure all restorations meet quality standards through thorough inspection and adjustments before delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of each case, including materials used and fabrication steps taken.
- Communicate effectively with dental professionals to clarify specifications and provide updates on progress.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
Skills
- Strong understanding of patient care principles related to dental prosthetics and oral health.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with dentists, patients, and team members clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in English for documentation, instructions, and teamwork purposes.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems used for record keeping and digital design tools in dentistry.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to interpret dental prescriptions accurately and translate them into precise prosthetic work.
- Experience or familiarity with nursing or healthcare environments is a plus for understanding patient needs.
