The Crown and Cushion, Eton is looking for morning person!
Our longest serving employee is moving on to pastures new and her role as Breakfast Chef and House Keeper needs filling.
Starting at 7am weekdays and/or 8am weekends perparing and serving breakfasts for the guests staying in our 8 bedroom Hotel. After breakfast service ends the role switches to Housekeeping duties.
Hours will vary depending on occupancy and seasonal trade.

Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces, following established janitorial procedures
- Ensure all guest rooms are prepared to meet quality standards before check-in, including making beds, replenishing supplies, and tidying bathrooms
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast dishes each morning, ensuring freshness, presentation, and adherence to dietary requirements
- Manage daily cleaning schedules, including laundry duties and restocking supplies in guest rooms and communal areas
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping or breakfast service, providing friendly and professional assistance
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues and report them accordingly
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in hospitality or food preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning and food handling is preferred
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
