We are seeking a highly motivated, professional and proactive Physiotherapist with an additional Sports Massage qualification to join our multidisciplinary team. Whilst Sports Therapy Centre invests significantly in marketing and business development, the successful candidate must recognise that building a thriving diary requires personal initiative, networking and self-promotion.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans.
- Prescribe and progress rehabilitation programmes.
- Provide hands-on treatment where appropriate.
- Educate patients regarding injury management, recovery and prevention.
- Maintain accurate, professional and timely clinical records.
- Ensure all treatment notes are completed on the day of treatment.
- Send rehabilitation programmes and exercise prescriptions promptly.
- Recognise when onward referral to another healthcare professional is required.
- Work within professional standards, scope of practice and evidence-based guidelines.
Patient Care
- Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Build positive, professional relationships with patients.
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism and excellent communication skills.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and data protection.

Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain all professional registrations and insurance requirements.
- Keep knowledge and skills up to date through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Follow all Sports Therapy Centre policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements
- Degree-qualified Physiotherapist.
- HCPC Registered.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (preferred).
- Additional Sports Massage qualification is essential.
- Valid professional indemnity insurance.
- Excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Strong manual therapy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of organisation and time management.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Additional Responsibilities
There may be occasions where you are the sole therapist working within the clinic. In these circumstances, you may be responsible for:
- Opening and closing the clinic.
- Securing the premises.
- Following lone working procedures.
- Managing emergency situations appropriately.
- Maintaining clinic standards throughout your shift.
A high level of responsibility, professionalism and common sense is therefore essential.
