Fully Qualified Electrician / Electrician's Mate
EPC TEC Ltd is a growing renewable energy company working across Wales and England, specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Air Source Heat Pump installations. Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our electrical team.
We are seeking a Fully Qualified Electrician to join our professional team. We would also welcome applications from an experienced Electrician's Mate who has renewable energy experience and is looking to develop their career alongside our qualified engineers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and commissioning electrical systems across a variety of renewable energy projects. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, test and commission electrical wiring, systems and equipment in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.
- Carry out Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charger and renewable energy installations.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Ensure all work complies with BS7671, current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Complete electrical certification and documentation accurately.
- Work independently and as part of an installation team.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service at all times.
Essential Requirements (Fully Qualified Electrician)
- Fully qualified Electrician.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Ability to inspect, test and sign off electrical work.
- Experience in domestic electrical installations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience installing Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
- Experience working within the renewable energy sector.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- EV Charger installation experience.
- Air Source Heat Pump electrical experience.
Electrician's Mate Applications
We will also consider applications from experienced Electrician's Mates who have:
- Renewable energy installation experience.
- Solar PV and Battery Storage experience.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
