Head Chef – Exciting Pub Takeover
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven Head Chef to join us as we take over and relaunch our pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job — we’re looking for somebody who wants to be part of building something special from the ground up.
As Head Chef, you will lead our kitchen team and help shape the future of the business by delivering outstanding food, creating a positive kitchen culture, and driving high standards throughout the operation.
We’re looking for someone with real passion for food, strong leadership skills, and the ambition to grow with us as we create a destination pub known for great food and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, creating a positive and productive working environment
- Oversee all food production to ensure consistently high standards of quality and presentation
- Manage food preparation, menu development, stock control, and kitchen organisation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cleanliness standards
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent guest experiences
- Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Help create exciting seasonal menus and fresh ideas for the business
- Maintain high standards during busy service periods while keeping the kitchen running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy pub or restaurant
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Passion for fresh food and hospitality
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen management
- Someone ambitious who wants to help build and grow the business with us

Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
