About the Role
Programme Overview
This internship is designed to provide a postgraduate candidate with practical, hands-on experience in e-commerce strategy, online sales, digital merchandising, and market expansion. The intern will progressively take on responsibility, contributing to real business growth initiatives.Main duties & responsibilities:
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Support online store management and product listings
- Support outreach campaigns (email, social media, marketplace platforms)
- Prepare proposals and presentations
- Maintain CRM and e-commerce platform records, tracking sales and customer interactions
- Support customer relationship management
- Contribute to online business growth strategies
Students will gain:

Essential Education
- Postgraduate degree (or currently studying) in:
- Business Management
- Marketing
Essential Requirements
- Strong interest in e-commerce, online retail, or digital sales strategy
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Confidence in interacting with potential customers and partners
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of e-commerce or retail principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desirable:

- Basic understanding of financial analysis or commercial metrics

Outcome & Progression
- Formal performance review at the end of 12 weeks

Practical
- Full UK driving licence (useful for site visits but not important)
