Re-vite Healthcare Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Female Complex Care Support Worker to join a dedicated 1:1 community care package supporting a young adult with complex health needs in their own home.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a consistent team providing person-centred support, promoting independence and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Duties will include:
Providing high-quality 1:1 support.
Personal care.
PEG feeding and medication support.
Recognising and responding appropriately to seizures, including the administration of rescue medication where required.
Supporting with moving and handling using appropriate equipment.
Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
Supporting community access and meaningful activities.
Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and following individual care plans.
Essential Requirements:
Female applicant
Minimum 12 months' experience in health and social care.
Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (preferably registered with the DBS Update Service).
Current Epilepsy Awareness and Rescue Medication training.
Current PEG Feeding training and competency.
Moving & Handling training.
Medication Administration training.
Excellent communication skills.
Compassionate, reliable and professional approach.
Successful applicants will receive a full induction, ongoing support and regular clinical supervision. Competitive pay of £15.50 per hour with opportunities for additional hours.
