We are looking for an Area Transport Manager to join us at Huws Gray, covering the South, supporting around 30 branches!
We rely on our Area Transport Managers to provide support to our commercial fleet, ensuring that we are operating in a safe, legal, and efficient way. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as an Area Transport Manager with Huws Gray:
- Carrying out on site training for procedures and tachograph analysis
- Communicate and provide information internally and externally to assist the team
- Transport system auditing of branches and operating centres
- Interpreting issues arising from audits, tachograph infringements and implementing action according to policies and procedures
- Carrying out driving assessments
- Investigating accidents for root cause and advising on further action required
- Training and setting of procedures in existing, new, and acquired branches
- Any ad hoc duties deemed necessary or required by the company

- Experience of tachograph analysis systems
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Flexible
