Opening Statement:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to head up our kitchen for 35 hours per week. The role is available on a full-time, part-time, or job-share basis.
Shift: Split shifts, flextime, occasional buffet service

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise kitchen operations independently
- Oversee food preparation and cooking to maintain quality and consistency
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Manage stock, order supplies, and control inventory
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff for smooth service
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Develop menus and maintain high culinary standards
Experience Required:
- Proven supervisory experience in a professional kitchen
- Extensive culinary skills (preparation, cooking techniques, presentation)
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Experience in menu development and quality assurance
- Background in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
