Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Willington Care Village. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients and support the medical team in delivering excellent healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct resident assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
- Assist in medical procedures and examinations
- Maintain accurate resident records and ensure confidentiality of medical information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients by assessing their needs and developing tailored care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols
- Lead and coordinate nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates and education about treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress, document observations accurately, and adjust care strategies as necessary
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies
- Support the training and mentorship of new or less experienced nursing staff to foster professional growth
Experience
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care procedures, and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in busy settings
- Experience developing and implementing individualized care plans for diverse patient populations
- Certification as required by local licensing authorities (e.g., RN license)
