Clearview Glaziers are a leading supplier and installers of high quality windows, doors, and glass products. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Window & Door Repair Engineer to join our team. The role involves carrying out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance on windows and doors for residential and commercial customers, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults on windows and doors
- Replace damaged or faulty components including hinges, handles, locks, sealed units, and mechanisms
- Adjust windows and doors to ensure correct operation
- Carry out glazing repairs and replacements where required
- Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and in line with customer requirements
- Maintain a clean and professional work area on-site
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Complete work within agreed timescales
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in window and door repair is preferred
- Good knowledge of aluminium and uPVC systems
- Ability to identify faults and provide effective solutions
- Experience using hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:30
Salary:
£30,000 to £40,000 p/a, dependent on experience
