Hours: Monday to Friday | 8am to 5pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Supervisor to oversee the operational delivery of a London-based contract, supporting a team of engineers and ensuring the highest standards of service, compliance and customer care.
The company’s Head Office is based in Bishop’s Stortford, and the successful candidate will be required to work 4 days per week from the Head Office, with 1 day per week spent in London visiting sites, supporting engineers and managing the London-based operation.
The successful candidate will have a strong Commercial Gas background, with previous supervisory or senior-level experience within a building services environment.
You will be responsible for supporting the engineers, overseeing commercial gas compliance, coordinating planned and reactive works and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting a team of engineers operating across London
- Overseeing the operational delivery of the London-based contract
- Providing day-to-day support and guidance to engineers
- Managing commercial gas compliance across the contract
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Ensuring all gas-related works are completed safely and in accordance with current regulations
- Attending London sites to support engineers and address operational requirements
- Managing subcontractors and specialist service providers
- Monitoring engineer performance and service delivery
- Producing operational and performance reports
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
