We are recruiting for a skilled Electrical Team Leader to manage and support a team of electricians delivering essential social housing maintenance services. About the Electrical Team Leader Role
As an Electrical Team Leader, you will oversee daily operations on a busy social housing contract, ensuring that all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will lead a team of electricians, support compliance and certification procedures, and carry out technical inspections to uphold NICEIC standards. This role is perfect for someone looking to step into a leadership position while remaining actively involved in technical aspects of electrical maintenance and inspections.
Candidate Responsibilities for the Electrical Team Leader:
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians, providing coaching and development
- Oversee NICEIC compliance and certification processes
- Support electrical testing programmes and carry out technical inspections
- Conduct quality audits and ensure safety standards are adhered to
- Support larger electrical projects within the social housing sector
- Deputise for the Electrical Manager as required
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing certification
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Strong knowledge of NICEIC compliance
- Social housing or maintenance background desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
