Multi-Skilled Labourer Job Vacancy
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Labourer to help with jobs on and around the site. Duties of the Multi-Skilled Labourer include carrying out carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks, as well as general building work as needed. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, punctual, and confident, working across multiple trades. If you have solid experience in carpentry, electrics, or plumbing, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Multi-Skilled Labourer will be ready to turn their hand to whatever the job requires and help keep work moving on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as fitting doors, skirting, and units
- Perform basic electrical work, including sockets, switches, and light fittings
- Complete plumbing tasks such as fitting taps, toilets, and repairing pipework
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools as required
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of worksites
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress
Requirements:
- Previous experience in carpentry, electrics, or plumbing required; experience across multiple trades preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Full UK driver's license is required
- Willing to travel where required
Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day
