Cygnets Art School is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and reliable teacher to lead our children’s art classes in Headington and Botley.
This role would suit an artist, art graduate, teacher or someone with experience working creatively with children. Lesson plans, project guidance and materials are provided.
Pay: £18–£22 per hour, depending on experience.
Term-time hours – approximately 8 paid hours per week:
- Monday in Headington: 4:15pm–5:45pm
- Thursday in Botley: 3:45pm–7:00pm
- Saturday in Headington: 9:45am–1:00pm
These hours include the required time before and after classes for setting up and clearing away.
There is also approximately 12 hours of work per week during selected school holidays, including October and February half terms, Easter, May half term and the summer holidays. Holiday workshops take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from approximately 10:15am–2:15pm, including setup and clearing time.
An interest in art and confidence working with children are essential. Previous teaching, childcare or classroom experience would be beneficial.
