Job Summary
The Cleaning Shift is Tuesday & Thursday mornings (8:00am - 10:00am) - 2 hours per shift - 4 hours per week
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Cleaner to join our team at Portswood. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role is ideal for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those familiar with commercial cleaning practices. The position offers a structured morning schedule, providing a clean and organised environment for our clients each day.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures, following company standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete cleaning tasks within allocated timeframes to meet operational schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning activities.
