We’re looking for a Head Chef to join the MOZO team!
MOZO is looking for a passionate, creative and ambitious Head Chef to take the lead in our kitchen and help shape our brunch and lunch offering.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys having creative freedom. We’re flexible with our menus and want our Head Chef to bring their own ideas, personality and experience to the food we serve.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and manage the kitchen team
- Create and develop exciting brunch and lunch dishes
- Have input into seasonal specials and menu changes
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Manage kitchen organisation, prep and service
- Monitor stock, ordering and food costs
- Ensure excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
- Train, motivate and support the kitchen team
- Bring new ideas and creativity to the MOZO menu
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced and creative Chef
- Works well in a team including with front of house
- Passionate about good food and great presentation
- Creative and confident developing dishes
- Organised and able to lead a kitchen
- Comfortable working in a busy brunch/lunch environment
- Reliable, professional and hands-on
- Excited by the opportunity to have a real say in the menu
Most importantly, we want someone with ideas. Our menu isn't set in stone — we want our chef to have the freedom to experiment, develop dishes and make the kitchen their own.
What we offer

- 37.5 hours per week, with flexible days working, not every weekend!!
