Reporting to the Chief Field Engineer , the EC&I Discipline Lead will support the E&I Package Manger during the bid evaluation process, contract award through to safe execution of site activities carried out by the appointed Electrical and HV Facilities contractor. The role also requires close collaboration with the wider Costain Construction Team as required.
The role involves monitoring construction performance, supporting the Permit to Work process, reviewing and implementing RAMS, and assisting in the coordination of all relevant site activities. They will also support the project quality team by monitoring Inspection and Test Plans and carrying out site inspections.
The role will also support the wider project team, including fellow Discipline Leads, the Advanced Work Packaging Lead, Work Pack Engineers, and the Construction and HSE teams.
This position will also require the individual to act as the Costain Isolation Authority and Electrical Responsible Person for the project.
The role is based full-time on site in Teesside.
