Job Title: Female Live-In Spinal Injury Carer (2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off)

Salary: £1,200 per week
MUST DRIVE as required to take client out in his cars
We are seeking an experienced female live-in carer to support a male client in his 50s with a spinal cord injury. This role operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational basis, providing high-quality, person-centred care within the client’s home.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full personal care and daily living support
- Safe manual handling and mobility assistance
- Recognise and manage Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD)
- Medication administration
- Support with bowel and bladder care programmes
- Drive client to appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care documentation
Essential Requirements
- Female carer (genuine occupational requirement)
- Proven spinal injury experience
- Experience managing Autonomic Dysreflexia
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Medication competency and manual handling training
- Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Must have a UK Drivers licence and access to a car
