Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle customer orders efficiently while maintaining friendly and professional communication.
- Uphold food safety standards at all times, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in line with health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth service delivery.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is essential.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment will be advantageous.
- Basic skills in food preparation are beneficial for assisting with light kitchen tasks.
- Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
