We are seeking a new member to the team to drive our interactions with customers delivering a variety of events, all aspects of internal and external event planning from concept to completion, this includes trade shows, exhibitions, in-house training days and industry dinners/meetings.
This role would suit a highly organised individual with a strong understanding of hospitality and events. There will be a fair amount of self-directed work and an understanding that some weeks will require heavy involvement, offset by quieter times.
The position is for 20 hours a week with a salary of £16,500.
Passion and knowledge for the drinks industry would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of internal and external event planning from concept to completion, this includes trade shows, exhibitions, in-house training days and industry dinners/meetings
- Manage the events calendar and schedule for the sales team
- Responsible for exhibition and trade show stand design, point of sale and logistics (UK and overseas)
- Manage pre-event planning, briefing and event execution which includes directing event set up, problem solving and communication with staff and guests
- Create effective advertising per event in coordination with the sales team and Marketing Coordinator, ensuring sufficient stock of fliers, brochures and banners in addition to supporting online event collateral
- Organise hotels and flights for overseas travel and exhibitions
- Manage events administration – ensure shows are delivered within budget
- Lead post-event evaluations for each event

- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, suppliers, team members, and event guests.
