Join our small team as a Self Employed Multi Drop Driver, where your driving skills and enthusiasm will drive success!
This role is for holiday cover throughout the year on a self-employed basis. Approximately 60days per year plus sickness cover if possible.
You’ll be responsible for safely transporting and delivering chilled goods in a 3.5ton long wheel base van, managing deliveries efficiently, and providing outstanding customer interactions. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to complete multiple drops throughout designated routes
- Load and unload goods with care, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Ensure timely deliveries by adhering to schedules and route plans
- Communicate clearly with clients and customers to confirm delivery details and address inquiries
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during routes
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively during all customer interactions
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong track record of punctuality and reliability
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving or operating larger vehicles preferred
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics processes is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations
