As a Site Engineer, you'll provide engineering support across the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme requirements.
What you'll be doing
As a Site Engineer you will be:
- Setting out and surveying works using modern engineering equipment and techniques.
- Ensuring construction activities are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Producing and reviewing engineering documentation, including inspection and test plans, permits and work packages.
- Managing quality assurance processes and maintaining accurate site records.
- Supporting the planning and coordination of daily construction activities.
- Monitoring progress and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Working closely with subcontractors, supervisors and project managers to resolve technical issues.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on construction, civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
- A degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with setting out equipment such as Leica or Trimble.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and construction methods.
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively while managing your own workload effectively.
- CSCS card as a minimum, with SMSTS or SSSTS desirable.
