General Assistant Wanted – Join the Team at Cafe Hope
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic General Assistant to join our team at Cafe Hope in the heart of Keswick.
If you love people, enjoy working in a busy café environment, and can bring good vibes even on a rainy Lake District day — we’d love to hear from you.
What The Role Includes
No two days are the same at Cafe Hope! You could be:
- Serving coffees, cakes, breakfasts, and lunches
- Greeting customers and creating a warm welcome
- Running food and clearing tables
- Keeping the café clean, tidy, and looking its best
- Chatting with customers and helping holidaymakers
- Making dogs feel just as welcome as their owners
- Supporting the team during busy periods
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a positive, friendly personality
- Works well in a team
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment
- Is reliable and hard-working
- Can stay calm during busy rushes
- Loves giving great customer service
- Experience is helpful, but attitude matters most

Hours
Full-time positions available 5 days out of 7 Weekend availability preferred.
