Overview
We are seeking diligent and reliable Self Employed Cleaning Operatives to join our team for evening office cleaning duties from 6pm to 8pm. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment and who are comfortable working independently. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to contribute to a professional workspace.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise office areas, including desks, floors, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap where necessary
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Maintain a tidy work area and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable and punctual with good organisational skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for the duration of the shift
- Flexibility to work during the specified hours of 6pm to 8pm on weekdays
