We Love Pets is looking for kind, reliable, and responsible dog lovers to join our team in Ascot, Bracknell, Windsor and Virginia Water as Home Boarding Dog Hosts.
As a host, you’ll welcome friendly dogs into your home for short stays while their owners are away, offering a safe, calm, and loving alternative to kennels.
About the role
You’ll care for dogs in your own home, providing either day care or overnight boarding. Your local We Love Pets branch takes care of all the admin and carefully matches you with dogs that suit your household and lifestyle.
You choose how often you host, making this role ideal for those who are retired, work from home, or simply enjoy the company of dogs without the long-term commitment.
What you’ll do
- Provide a loving, dog-safe home for short stays
- Follow each dog’s usual care routine, including feeding, walks, and rest
- Offer plenty of companionship, attention, and affection
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns to your manager
- Maintain a secure home environment, including garden space
What you’ll need
- A genuine love of dogs and confidence caring for them
- A dog-friendly home with direct access to a secure garden
- Availability during the day to provide company
- No pets that would be unsuitable around visiting dogs
- Willingness to follow guidance and routines set by your manager
- A calm, caring approach and commitment to high welfare standards
