Job Advert
Bidwells is looking for an experienced landlord and tenant surveyor to join our specialist team and provide strategic, commercially focused lease advisory services to a diverse range of clients across the commercial property sector.
This newly created role sits within our highly successful Cambridge Leasing team, supporting leading clients across the region. While we’d ideally welcome someone on a full-time basis, we’re happy to be flexible for the right person and will consider part-time hours to help fit around school drop-offs, family life or other commitments.
As a Lease Consultancy Surveyor, you will advise landlords, occupiers and investors on all aspects of lease consultancy, including rent reviews, lease renewals, lease regears and wider occupational strategy. You will use your market knowledge and negotiation skills to deliver high-quality advice that supports clients in maximising value, managing risk and achieving their property objectives.
Working across a varied portfolio of commercial assets, you will build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing clear, commercially driven recommendations and negotiating effectively on their behalf. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues across Bidwells’ wider teams, including Property Management, Agency, Investment and Valuation, to provide a comprehensive service to clients.
The role will involve:
-
Providing lease consultancy advice across a range of commercial property assets.
-
Undertaking rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears.
-
Negotiating with landlords, tenants and their professional representatives.
-
Preparing reports, advice notes and market commentary to support client decisions.
-
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
-
Identifying opportunities to grow client accounts and support business development activity.
-
Keeping up to date with market trends, legislation and best practice.
We are looking for someone who is RICS qualified, commercially minded, confident in negotiations and able to provide trusted advice to clients. Our successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple instructions effectively. Experience of acting as an Expert Witness would be an advantage.
