Job role
Bonnyrigg Healthcare is a busy community pharmacy focusing on exceptional patient care and service. We are looking for a detail-oriented VBM Operator to manage our automated medication packaging system.
- Operate and monitor the VBM blister-card/dispensing automation equipment.
- Ensure precise loading, packaging and visual inspection of medications.
- Stock ordering and control.
- Perform routine maintenance/cleaning and troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues.
- Collaborate with managers, pharmacists and other staff to maintain smooth dispensing workflows.
The role includes working independently and as part of a team within the pharmacy.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or operating automated machinary.
- High level of accuracy and acute attention to detail.
- Pharmacy qualification preferred or a desire to achieve the qualification.
Applicant must also exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Wage structure will depend on experience and qualifications.
Pay: £13.20-£17.50 per hour
