Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating VNA forklifts to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Your expertise will ensure smooth inventory movement, accurate shipping and receiving processes, and proper handling of goods. Duties
- Operate VNA forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper placement and storage of goods
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance
- Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and mechanical handling
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipment contents against documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience operating VNA forklifts or similar narrow aisle equipment in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and precise placement of goods
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation verification
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory counts and measurements
- Warehouse experience emphasizing safety practices, equipment operation, and efficient workflow
