About the job:
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to join and work within a team to provide care and support services to adults for up-keeping their hygiene, ensuring safety, and facilitating social-emotional support in their own homes.
Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Shift: Shifts between Monday to Sunday.
Pay: £12.85-£13.10 per hour
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support services to adults in their own homes with focus on personal hygiene, safety, and social-emotional support.
- Provide support as outlined in care reviews and plans.
- Facilitate decision-making and promote choice for service users.
- Take responsibility for specific areas of care, including medical needs and advocacy.
- Ensure service users’ personal property is well-maintained.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Location: Reliably commute or relocate to Sheffield (required).
- Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience:Previous healthcare experience (preferred).
- Language: English.
- Licence : Valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
- Initiative: Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy: Understanding of issues related to elderly care, learning disabilities, and dementia.
- Background Check: Satisfactory references and DBS checks
