Job Title: School Administrator

ANZUK Education is working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in London seeking an experienced School Administrator to join their team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to act as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, playing a key role in the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the school.

This School Administrator role in London would suit experienced school administrators, office managers, or administrative professionals who thrive in a busy school environment.
Key Responsibilities of a School Administrator:
- Maintain accurate pupil records and data using Arbor MIS, ensuring statutory returns and census submissions are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage pupil admissions, transfers and leavers, including coordinating main-round admissions processes.
- Provide a professional reception service, responding to enquiries from parents, visitors and external agencies.
- Monitor pupil attendance, record absences and support attendance procedures, including the administration of penalty notices where appropriate.
- Support senior leadership with diary management, school events, communications and general office administration.
- Administer first aid and medicines in accordance with school procedures (training can be provided).
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience in a school administration role or similar administrative position.
- Demonstrate strong IT skills across Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience using Management Information Systems (Arbor desirable).
- Hold excellent organisational skills, with outstanding written and verbal communication and high attention to detail.
- Maintain a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection, remaining calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Hold GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent, and a Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
